Cost Containment Engineering, Inc. is a San Antonio, Texas based Engineering & Consulting firm which specializes in reducing our client's water and energy consumption and costs via a variety of efficiency improvement and conservation techniques, including Predominant Use Studies and utility audits (water, electricity, and/or natural gas) supervised by a licensed professional engineer.
Cost Containment Engineering, Inc. (CCE) manages water and energy efficiency programs for a variety of industrial, commercial, institutional and governmental customers. We are a small group of experienced engineers (Principals pictured above, from l to r: David Frashier, Robert Hambright, and David Goodrich). When appropriate for larger projects and programs, CCE utilizes our network of specialized sub-contractors and consultants to accomplish our clients' objectives. CCE is licensed and registered with the Texas Board of Professional Engineers to provide these engineering services. CCE is a certified small business, available for teaming with prime contractors on governmental projects which require small business participation.
Professional Services / General Areas of Expertise:
· Management of water and energy conservation programs for public utilities, commercial & industrial facilities, schools & universities, governmental facilities and apartment properties.
· Water audits to recommend and design water conservation and water efficiency improvements to reduce our commercial client's water and sewer costs. Design of commercial wastewater treatment systems for water recycle / reuse, to eliminate sewer surcharges, and/or to remove contaminants to comply with pre-treatment standards.
· Energy Predominant Use Study by a licensed professional engineer to qualify all types of manufacturers and other eligible facilities for state sales tax exemption on electricity and natural gas.
· Energy audits and Energy Star related services to recommend and design energy efficiency improvements to reduce our clients' utility costs. (schools, commercial buildings, hotels & motels, manufacturing operations, municipal or industrial facilities, and wastewater treatment plants) · Waste minimization programs to reduce our client's disposal costs in the areas of wastewater treatment, hazardous, bio-hazard, and solid (trash) waste disposal. · Review of client's utility bills to identify errors and/or more attractive rate structures. · Pre-construction design review of building renovations and new construction projects to assure incorporation of energy and water efficient equipment and materials in the final design. · Assist clients with energy deregulation issues, including solicitation / evaluation of deregulated energy pricing proposals, and · Project Management of small-scale construction projects (up to ~ $2 million).
