ENERGY STAR was created by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to help consumers (including business, educational facilities and governmental entitities) easily identify products, homes, and buildings that save energy and money, and help protect the environment. As the government-backed, trusted symbol of energy efficiency, the ENERGY STAR label identifies highly efficient products and designates superior energy performance in homes and buildings.

CCE will compare your building's energy consumption (kilowatt hours and cubic feet of natural gas) and performance against "benchmarks" for other similar facilities in EPA's national Energy Star database, correcting for differences in climate. The Energy Star Rating is based on a scale of of 0 to 100, with higher numbers above 75 being associated with the most efficient buildings.
Energy cost savings (for example, electricity and natural gas) of 20% to 30% are often achieveable by implementing cost effective energy efficiency improvements. Using the Energy Star tools and procedures, we will help you identify the most cost effective energy efficiency improvement investments for your specific facility.
